Managing Diversity as a Political Appointee

February 5, 2021

LCWINS was thrilled when, at our request, presidential candidates Joe Biden and Kamala Harris pledged to strive for gender parity in their national security appointments. We want to see them succeed at achieving national security leadership that looks like America and is representative in all diversity categories. In this webinar, we will discuss how folks going into the Administration, including at the very top, can make an impact on diversity in the federal government. We will also discuss how the Administration is doing on diversity thus far, and what it will take for them to meet our goal of a government that looks like the people it represents.
